Door Way Training and Sensor's Relationship Table Construction

USU researchers have developed a method for commissioning motion sensors in a controlled room. Unlike many other approaches, this system adapts to the location of entrances and other objects to increase energy efficiency. This technology can also adjust lighting/room temperature as it monitors the activity of individuals entering and leaving the room. For interested parties, this technology is available to license and be introduced to several different commercial applications such as lighting/climate control in offices and households.

• Offices

• Households

• Security Systems

• Monitor activity of individuals

• Adjust lighting/temperature to accommodate occupancy of the room

• Increases energy efficiency
